Sharing The Wealth

Saturday, August 29th, 2009

We hear things like, “share the wealth” and “redistribute the wealth” a lot—especially from politicians, who don’t seem to like to walk their talk ;). This isn’t a bad idea, and it certainly would make the world a better place. The best part of it is, you can do it without handing out a single cent of your hard-earned wealth.

How You Can Share The Wealth

You could compare this to the biblical stories about giving a man a fish versus teaching a man to fish (or woman, no sexism here!).

If you simply hand money out to people who do not know how to manage it and use it to build wealth, it will be gone in short time. However, if you teach that person how to develop his or her mindset to one of positivity and wealth, you could teach them a valuable life skill that will set them up for life. As we all know here, this is more important than giving money, as it is the real key to building wealth—having the mindset and attitude that invites wealth and financial freedom.

What You Have To Give

The best part of this is that any of us can share the wealth in this way—even those of us who are just getting started in creating wealth, who have only little nest eggs built.

Any of us here on this blog have something to give. We have knowledge. We have the knowledge of mindset and we have wealth creation resources right at our fingertips. Even just spreading this link is an act in wealth-sharing.

It does not take money to share the wealth, it just takes a small amount of effort and time (but I guarantee you it will come back to you several-fold!). I believe most people want to give, they just don’t know what they have to give. We all have gifts that we can share to help others succeed, too. Give yours and share the wealth!

Freedom!

Saturday, July 18th, 2009

Let’s say it again, because we love it so much—

Freedom!!

Consider this your timely reminder that that is what life is all about. And what we’re all about here.

Living Life Your Way

accomplishment1Every once in a while, I like to remind people what we are doing here and why we are doing it. We are here to help motivate and inspire you, and to deliver great wealth creation resources to help get the job done. Oftentimes that means reminding you that you deserve this! That wealth creation is not some selfish pursuit, but the path to greater happiness in life.

You see, the point of wealth creation, the true purpose of it, is not really to make money. Sound wrong? It’s not. The purpose of creating wealth is to live the fullest, truest, best life possible. Life is intended to be enjoyed, not be a practice in struggle and financial stress.

In today’s world, the way that you achieve your fullest life is to have the freedom to pursue your goals and interests. That’s not something that is easily done when you are working day to day in the rat race. The only way people have freedom of time and interest and control over what they do is to build enough wealth so as to be the person in charge.

Building Lifestyles

So you see, what we strive for is to help people build lifestyles. It happens to be that building wealth is part and parcel to that, but that is, in all honesty, the only real goal I’ve ever had—to build a life of freedom and enjoyment for me and mine, and to help others to do the same. In no way do I judge what others believe to be their fullest life or destiny, I only work to help them achieve the freedom of time and energy to be able to do that, by helping them to better ways of financing their dreams.

Wealth Creation, Reality Creation

Tuesday, June 30th, 2009

I owe due credit to my good friend Ange Recchia of Buzzing with Ange for this post. Hers was a timely reminder of a fit theme that runs throughout nearly all wealth creation resources.

Your Hand In Creation

humblebeginningAnge’s timely reminder was that the one central theme she came to know well from all of the experts and wealth creators that she followed was this one simple quote:

“You create your reality; what you think about comes about.”

It’s true, and I’ve had the same experience. We create our own destinies through our attitude and mindset. We make the decisions about how an experience will impact on our lives. Unfortunately, far too often people make the wrong decisions and decide to let things become burdens and hurdles instead of opportunities or manageable situations. We relinquish control of our lives by not taking control and deciding how much of an impact and what kind of impact any given thing will have upon us.

Even “bad” situations can go our way if we handle them right—which means learning from the experience and refusing to dwell upon it—refusing to give them any more power in our lives than they should.

The Whole Life Experience

As Ange says, this is not at all limited to wealth creation. You create the reality of your life in every aspect—health, wealth, relationships, lifestyle, family… Really, in order to be the most successful in one area you need to create a positive, healthy reality in the other, because no two of these are ever unconnected. The lifestyle that you make possible will be directly correlated to the wealth you build, which is directly related to your family’s lifestyle and happiness, and on and on.

Your life is your reality, and that reality is what you make it. Understanding that one simple fact is probably about 99% of the battle. It’s an extremely empowering thing to know this, and a wonderful stress relief to know that yes, you can create your life and live it to the fullest; and it all starts with your decision-making and reality creation process.

Power In Numbers

Friday, June 12th, 2009

There are power in numbers in wealth creation; not just power in financial numbers or dollar figures, but power in “people” numbers, too.

You’re Not Alone

Although we tend to often think of creating wealth as an independent venture, it is actually a collaborative undertaking. Yes, many parts of it and the majority of the work is independent, but if you think about it this is not something you are doing on your own. The fact that you are here reading this blog proves otherwise.

And what of those wealth creation resources? The books, articles, seminars, and courses. Who wrote those? People. Yes, people need people, which is the way it should be. We’re here to help each other succeed and then to pay it forward to the next person. Not a bad world to be living in, huh?

Give And Take

This scenario does require that you give back to the larger wealth creation community, but look at all that you get from it.

• You get the advantage of knowledge of people who have succeeded in doing just what you want to do.
• You get a system of support from people who enjoy helping others and who want to see you succeed.
• You build networks that will last a lifetime (trust me—this happens!).
• You get a place to turn when you’re not sure what to do next.
• You get access to all manner of excellent wealth creation resources.
• You get to capture the power of the Law of Attraction and surround yourself with like-minded people, multiplying that power.

Clearly there is great power in numbers, and you will find it much easier and more enjoyable to build wealth if you capitalize on that power. Everything good that you have done in life has involved other people, and this should be no different. Share the experience and harness one of the greatest powers that we have on this earth!
