Turn Your Gold Into Cash

Tuesday, December 15th, 2009

If you are ready to focus on wealth creation, the first step is to obtain the capital that you need to move forward with your plan. Many different options are available, but the money that you need may be closer than you think. It is easy to obtain cash for gold, no matter the shape or form. Jewelers are one gold source, but you actually have a number of opportunities to make money.

What To Sell

The first step to turning your gold into cash to start your wealth creation program is to determine which pieces of gold you are going to sell. Most of the time, the jewelry in your jewelry box has sentimental value and you will not want to get rid of those pieces. Do not go selling off all of your family heirlooms because most of the time they are worth more to you than anyone is willing to pay.

However, if you keep looking you are sure to find a few pieces that would not have any impact on you emotionally if you were to get rid of them. If you are going to sell jewelry, keep in mind that workmanship is of no importance because the jewelry will most likely be melted back down to pure gold form.

Before you are ready to sell your gold, you need to have it appraised. This will give you some kind of an idea of what you should expect when you sell. You will be more equipped to deal with offers if you know what your gold is actually worth. Keep in mind that your appraiser and your buyer should never be the same person. Always get your own appraisals done by a qualified professional that you trust.

The last step is to find someone to whom you can sell your gold. You will find several companies in the telephone directory and online. You may also find ads in the local newspapers. Be sure to contact your buyer beforehand to make sure the deal is legit.

Starting With The Wrong Concept

Wednesday, November 4th, 2009

If you believe that creating wealth means that you have to cut down on all your spending, save more money and budget, budget, budget, then you are horribly mistaken. It seems that all the noise these days is focused on building wealth and achieving financial freedom. Everyone wants to know how to create wealth the easiest way possible.

In order to create wealth, you must create a steady stream of income throughout your life. To truly build wealth, you need not worry about saving more money, cutting back on your spending or making a budget. Wealth is created from new money. The wealthiest people in the world have created ways to generate money and continue to reinvest into additional assets that provide them with even more money.

Get Started

If you are ready to start your wealth creation program, you have to start at the very beginning. Think about the skills that you already have and what you do to make money now. Consider starting a business that relates to the knowledge and skills that you have already. You do not have to start out making millions, but every little bit of extra cash flowing into your pockets brings you closer to financial freedom.

If you are already making money doing the work that you enjoy, think of ways to expand your horizons and start bringing money straight to you as opposed to making money for an employer. Take the time to expand your knowledge by taking workshops, online classes and attending seminars relevant to your niche. The more knowledge you have in your industry of choice, the easier it will be to establish yourself as an authority in that industry and start making some real money.

It is never too late to begin your wealth creation program. If you want to cut a few corners, seek out the advice of a successful mentor. They can answer any questions you have about your niche and tell you about mistakes that you can avoid.

Match Your Tasks To Your Mood

Wednesday, April 22nd, 2009

One strategy for increasing motivation and productivity as part of a wealth creation program and plan is to match your tasks to your goals. This is very much related to an older conversation we had here on the wealth creation blog in regards to intrinsic motivation. When you learn the trick of it, you find out that getting things done is a whole lot less painful than you thought it would be.

I Feel Like Doing….

Finish this sentence and you pretty much have the gist of this. The idea is to work with your moods, not against them.

Productive MoodToo often we are planning our days according to a logical list of things that need to get done. That’s not so bad, except that we are motivated very much by our moods. When we are not in the mood to attend to a certain task, it can be extremely hard to get it done. Often this is when procrastination and overwhelm settles in, because we start to think about how difficult or boring or tedious or just plain hard something is, and instead of tackling it head on, we spend our time commiserating over having to do it.

If instead you can move on to something that you do feel like doing and come back later to this task, you stand a better chance of getting your list done and of being in a frame of mind of productivity that will be more welcoming to the task.

Mood Discipline

Of course this is a very basic run-down of the strategy of working with your moods to produce more results. Implementing this requires a certain level of discipline and negotiation (with yourself). There will still always be things you’d rather not attend to, and so you may just have to force yourself into attending to those tasks. Just paying a little more attention to the moods of your day and realigning tasks to more suitable times and matches will make a significant difference in what you are able to accomplish.

Make The Most Of Wealth Appointments

Monday, April 20th, 2009

Now we’ve gotten through the hardest part of setting your schedule for wealth creation. We’ve figured out how you can make the time; we’ve figured out how to make that new schedule a priority habit; up until now that time may not have been your most productive, but you’ve set the stage to make it so. Now, let’s look at just a couple of ways to maximise that time and make it the productive and prosperous time it should be.

Get Ready For Wealth!

I’m going to speak in more general terms than what you might be expecting. This isn’t about choosing and following a wealth creation program, although that will certainly be something you should use this time to Time for Wealth!do. This is more about getting ready to use that time effectively, in whatever way you need to be using it—because we are all at different points in our journeys to financial freedom and prosperity, and so we’ll all need to use this time differently. Actually, your wealth creation program will help you to decide what tasks and goals to attend to.

In general terms, though, you can maximize your time by preparing yourself mentally. Any task that you come to mentally prepared for and ready to attack will have much more motivation behind it, and be much more productive.

Plan Ahead

For starters, plan ahead for your appointment. This doesn’t so much mean to know what specifically you are going to do that day (you’ll figure that out as you go along), it means to plan in your mind the reason for your appointment. For instance, you wouldn’t go to a business meeting or a doctor’s appointment without having a reason, so give yourself the reason and explanations you need to tell your mind what and why you are doing this. Then you’ll know why it matters to keep the appointment.

Then, prepare yourself ahead of time for whatever the tasks will be. This means that you need to set the mood for performing whatever tasks need doing. When you prepare mentally to spend a quiet hour researching and reading in your subject of interest, or attacking a new and exciting wealth creation strategy, you’ll be looking forward to doing it, and not dreading what lies ahead.

Creating wealth is about mindset all around. Set your mind to maximise your wealth appointment time, and you’ll be raring to go when you arrive.

Making Impatience Pay

Tuesday, March 10th, 2009

On the one hand, you’ll hear me say (repeatedly) that there is no way to “get rich quick.” I’ll stand by that stance, as it is absolutely true. However, there is a way to get rich quicker, and that is to find yourself a good program for wealth creation and get an effective, efficient, financial education.

Information Overload

You see, there is an absolute proverbial ton of excellent information out there that will tell you what you need to build wealth. From books from the top scholars and wealth creators to articles and seminars and wealth creation homestudy courses, there is an absolute abundance of information on the subject. Add to that pile the plethora of scams and schemes and trash, and you have a situation primed to overwhelm you and dash your chances before you even get started. Even looking at just the real, viable, reputable and proven information alone, there is a definite case of information overload going on.

Starting Ahead Of The Curve

Those people who do manage to wade their way through that overload of information often spend years doing it. Years! That’s a long time to spend in research when you could buck that trend, start ahead of the pack, and be taking action toward creating wealth. In a matter of months, with the right wealth creation program, you could be reaping the benefits and meeting your first-line goals for building wealth and living financially free. You just have to know that you do not need to “know it all” and choose just one or a few of the best of the best from that pile of information.

This is what the best wealth education programs do. They compile the best of the best, and deliver to you one message, one system, and one reliable strategy for reforming your entire lifestyle and meeting your financial goals. They take away the hurdle of information overload, give you a definite and defined starting point, and then continue to lead you down the path to success and financial freedom. None of this happens overnight, but with your commitment it will happen. The best part is, you won’t have to feel guilty about being impatient, because finally what you might consider impatience, is really efficiency, and it is the best way to make your efforts pay off, and in record time to boot!
