Be Accountable

Thursday, May 27th, 2010

Every action that you make produces some sort of result. It does not make a difference whether you are successful or if you fail; when all is said and done, you will have a result. The great thing about this fact is that you are completely responsible for the result.

All too often, people tend to pass blame along to someone else when they do not succeed. If they do not achieve their goal, it is never their fault. To these people, the blame is always placed on the markets never falling into place, an undesirable economy, the personalities of the consumers, etc. For these people, in no way are they ever responsible for the failure to make a sale.

Once you come to the realization that you are one hundred percent accountable for your results, you will be able to start achieving your wealth creation goals. Instead of selling your products and services based on price, try selling based on value. Instead of looking for consumer personalities that match your business, find ways for your business to match several different personalities. It may take a lot of time and education for you to learn to apply such principles, but if you continue on the same unaccountable path, you will not succeed with your plans to create wealth.

It is too easy to simply point the finger away from you, people do it every day. The key to successfully creating wealth is not to debate over who is at fault, but instead it is to be accountable. When you take a stand and commit to being accountable for all of your actions, you will be able to avoid a huge financial upset.

If you are interested in learning how to successfully build wealth, the best way to start is by deciding to take one hundred percent responsibility for the state of your finances. Stop blaming your boss for not giving you a raise. Stop blaming your spouse for not making enough or spending too much. Stop waiting for handouts and take responsibility for your own future and the wealth you want to create.
