Using Email Marketing to Create Wealth
Tuesday, July 27th, 2010A better time has never been to create a passive income stream than right now. Previously, only those who held great capital had the ability to create passive income streams. However, now through the power of the Internet, anyone is capable of creating an effective passive income stream with little or no money in the beginning.
In the past, creating a passive income stream required a lot of money. Stocks, real estate and businesses were all great ways to create income streams, but they required a lot of capital or exceptional skill in order to be successful. Now, with access to email you do not need any special skills or talents. All you have to do is take the time to learn how to do it.
To get started, you need to understand what email marketing is exactly. Email marketing is collecting information about people and marketing directly to them through email. All you have to do is set up your email marketing campaigns, which come with several professional-looking templates and run automatically.
First, you need to set up your squeeze page so you will be able to collect names and email addresses. When someone signs up for your weekly newsletter, you have permission to market to him or her through email.
Next, you need to get traffic flowing to your squeeze page through promotion, social networking, etc. in order to collect as many names and emails as possible though newsletter subscriptions.
You will need to create a series of newsletters to go out to the people on your subscription list automatically weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or as often as you choose. However, it is best to refrain from sending your newsletters too frequently or you may come across as spam, which is a big no-no.
Finally, your newsletters should contain content that the reader will find valuable to keep them coming back for more. However most importantly, you need to promote affiliate products and services, which is where you will build the bulk of your income.
