Create Wealth: You Wouldn’t Be The First

Thursday, April 30th, 2009

The prospect of creating wealth is empowering. Just knowing that you have the real capability of becoming rich and financially free gives you that “on top of the world” feeling that you are setting off in unchartered territory. In a lot of ways that will be true—no one else will pursue wealth in just the way that you do; but in reality, you are far from being the first person to build wealth, or go from “rags to riches” as the saying goes.

A History Of Success

We’ve seen real wealth success stories all through the ages. The concept of developing the millionaire mindset or succeeding simply through thought and attitude is not new. Historic writers like Napoleon Hill (from whom came success-lineMindset Mastery) and Wallace Wattles (the man who gave us the Secret Law of Attraction) are historic proof of rags to riches success, and there have been many others, myself included, who have become self-made wealth-builders. Across all nations and times, regular people have made it big and enjoyed the financially free life that most people think is just a dream.

Why Burst Your Bubble?

So why do I burst your bubble with this knowledge? Why not let you feel like the conqueror of the world? (Which you still are, by the way) Only for this reason: to give you the support to know that it is indeed possible for a regular guy or girl like you to set your mind to wealth and success and achieve it. To prove to you that this is not at all an exercise in futility, and that you can certainly achieve the same prosperity as any other on the face of this earth.

Still A Minority

You may not be the first, but you are still one of a select group. That is the select group of regular people who have the courage and determination to know that they can succeed and be wealthy, and then go after it. You should be very proud of yourself for that fact, and give yourself a hug pat on your back. Take comfort in knowing that wealth and prosperity is attainable, that the path is there for you to follow, and be proud that you care enough about yourself to follow it!

Dare To Be Rich!

Sunday, April 26th, 2009

The hardest part of achieving wealth and prosperity is getting started and committing to a course of ongoing action. So much of the time the reason that we find that hard to do is because negativity and cynicism is ingrained within us; the knee-jerk response to possibility is that it can’t be done, or is silly or ridiculous. We are so programmed toward cynicism that it is nearly impossible to overcome and actually believe in possibility by the time we are adults.

Strategic Daring

We’ve talked about a few ways to overcome this, from rewiring your subconscious and developing the Dare to Succeedmillionaire mindset to just plain ignoring the naysayers. Now, here’s another—fun—option. Dare yourself to succeed!

As humans we all love a good dare. We love to be dared and to prove the naysayers wrong. We love to throw it back in the faces of everyone who told us we wouldn’t or couldn’t. What better, sweeter victory is there than to prove everyone wrong who said you could never be prosperous and financially free? Who said you’d never be rich because wealth was only for the rich? As the saying goes, living well is the sweetest revenge….

Dare Your Little Voice

This same strategy works for that nagging little voice inside of you that doesn’t believe in you either. That side of yourself that you never liked, that is always talking you out of trying to achieve true wealth and financial freedom. Show that voice who’s boss! The next time it “dares” you to try it, take that dare, and dare to succeed!

If you just can’t muster the confidence (yet) to make a real run at wealth, get started in whatever way you can. Dare yourself to go on the most profitable adventure you’ve ever taken, and find out just how daring and successful you can be!
