‘Sacrifice’ To Attract Wealth

Wednesday, September 2nd, 2009

Not everything we give up is really a sacrifice, as we talked about last time. Sometimes in life those ‘sacrifices’ are the best possible things that could happen for us. The benefits to giving up on fruitless efforts are huge, in more ways than you might have considered.

Always On Law Of Attraction

Just like the Internet, the Law of Attraction is an ‘always on’ force. It never stops working for you; it never stops attracting to you that which you put out into the world. Properly utilised, the Secret has the potential to be a hugely beneficial force for you. On the other hand, if you don’t pay attention to what you are attracting to you, it could also easily become one of the most destructive forces in your life.

Just to refresh, we attract to us the same things we put out into the world. If you put out stress, negativity, doubt, and need, you will get all of those things back to you. If you replace those thoughts and feelings with positivity, determination, motivation, wealth, action, and positive effort, those are the things that will come back to you.

Put in this perspective, you now need to consider that any negative or wasteful things that you give up are not sacrifices at all—they are more like culls in the herd of positive things that can work for you and attract wealth. By culling out those negative forces, you make room for the positives and open the space for the Law of Attraction to work positively for you.

As humans we tend not to like change, and so whenever we need to give something up we think of it as a sacrifice. Often, that is not really the case at all. Often we are just making room for positive replacements and improvements, and each time we do that we open up infinitely more possibilities than if we lived with the status quo.

Hard Work + Honesty = ?

Tuesday, August 25th, 2009

Hard work and honesty—we’re raised to believe they are the two keys to anything that you want in life. But is this really the magic combination that equates to wealth? Or is there something missing in this formula?

Napoleon Hill On Hard Work + Honesty

“If you are one of those who believe that hard work and honesty alone will bring riches, banish the thought!”

Chalk this up as another post inspired by the great Napoleon Hill. It was this one single quote from his updated version of Think and Grow Rich, re-titled Mindset Mastery, that inspired me today.

These are strong, but meaningful words that he writes. Banish the idea that you can simply work hard, be honest, and magically be wealthy. But why? Isn’t it moral to work hard and be honest? Is there something wrong with these noble traits?

Certainly not. If you read carefully, Hill says nothing of the sort. What he does say is that these two characteristics ALONE will not bring riches. There is most definitely something missing from this equation. Unfortunately, the traditional education and upbringing does not enter anything else into your life’s equation. We are taught to work hard and be honest, and that success will follow. But I think it’s easy to see where just these two things alone will get you. There are plenty of examples all around, every day.

Where Does Hard Work And Honesty Get You?

Let me say unequivocally now that working hard and being honest are important life traits. These two characteristics are not to be banished, simply built upon and added to. Along with them you would need also traits such as positivity, a wealthy mindset, motivation, action, and dedication.

If working hard and being honest by themselves were enough to build wealth, we would have very few poor people in the world. In my experience, most people are hard working and honest, but that alone has not allowed them to get ahead and create wealth. To do that, more needs to be added to the mix. Hard work and integrity are excellent foundations, but more needs to be added to the mix to solidify that footing.

Independently Wealthy-Today!

Monday, August 24th, 2009

Did you know you are already independently wealthy? That you already, today, have every single thing that it takes to be wealthy? And as we know from our lessons of be, do, have, from [Name Withheld], once you BE wealthy, all you have to do is take those wealthy actions to HAVE money, success, and wealth.

Your Wealth List

Looking at your bank balance, perhaps you find it tough to believe that you are already wealthy. Let’s look at all the things you have going for you that are creating wealth for you.

checklist Brains. You have all the brains and intelligence it takes to build wealth. Making money and building wealth is not complex; there are plenty of ways to do it with a little knowledge and the ability to read. I know you’ve got that if you’ve gotten this far.
Mindset. Building wealth is at least 90% mindset, and probably more. Set your mind to success, and it will be yours.
Attitude. Very closely related to mindset, and in some people’s mind it is the same. I think of your attitude as your emotional health towards money and wealth and opportunity. See that yours is positive, and success will follow closely on its heals.
Money. Think you don’t have any? I beg to differ. There is practically always money to start in wealth creation. Building an internet marketing business like mine takes only an internet and computer access—which you obviously have. What you need to do is decide to use at least a portion of your money for your purposes, and stop letting outside creditors have all the control.
Motivation. You have motivation, you’re here. You are motivated to build wealth and do better. You may need to work a little harder to keep that motivation at first, but stick around and we’ll help you out ;)
Dedication. Dedicate your actions to your goals and your wealth and success. With a good mindset and dedication to see it through, you are an unstoppable wealth-creating force.

You see the list of necessities for building wealth is not long, and is not at all unattainable. It is also not all about money—you’ll notice money is only one very small factor here. You have everything that it takes to start creating wealth today. What else are you waiting for?

More Currencies Than Cash

Friday, July 31st, 2009

Cash may be the bottom line, but each and every one of us has other currencies that we can deal in that make our lives better, but that also can come in very useful in creating wealth.

What You Have To Offer

blessingsrockMoney is really just one part of wealth creation, and it’s not even the largest part. The largest contributing factor you have in creating wealth is your mindset and attitude. That is a currency that cannot be replaced or bartered. That is one of your absolute most important currencies both for yourself and for others who rely upon you. If you hold the one simple currency of positive mindset and pro-you attitude, you will go far and achieve all of your personal prosperity goals.

There are other currencies, too, that you will find are invaluable. Among them are integrity, ethics, dedication, motivation, talents, and ambition—and I’m sure there are many you can add to the list. You might notice that these are not negative attributes that I highlight, but very positive ones. Remember that wealth is not a bad thing—making money and being rich only gets a bad reputation because of the negative emotions and attitudes that we come to associate with it over time (something you need to work to overcome to be wealthy and prosperous). It’s not a deserving reputation at all.

How Currencies Come Into Play

You may be wondering how these other currencies will come into play, and the truth is that there is not one answer or one way for me to answer that question. I’m sure with just a little thought you’ll come up with several examples all your own. Mindset and attitude as currency are rather obvious and have been discussed at length here before; the others are currencies that you will come to rely upon as time moves on. You’ll find that those come in the form of unexpected opportunities, partnerships, assistance, support, and stronger foundations of learning, wealth, and dealings, in addition to many unpredictable but wonderful ways.

We all have a wealthy person inside of us, we just need to decide to let him or her shine through. Developing and capitalizing on your personal currencies and talents is just one way to do that. It also happens to be one of the ways that you can feel the most confident and inspired in your path and choices—a totally winning situation all around.

Punished By Rewards

Saturday, July 25th, 2009

In a follow up to yesterday’s post, I’d like to talk a little more about why you should celebrate your success and progress in creating wealth now and along the way, instead of holding it all off until the ‘end’.

There are a number of reasons why you should do your celebrating sooner rather than later. Let’s look at a few.

You Deserve This!

You’ve worked hard all your life, and you’ve dedicated yourself to living an even better life and finally getting what you deserve out of it, instead of allowing all the benefit to be for someone else. That is worthy of celebration, isn’t it!?

Motivational Celebration

This is one of the biggest reasons that you need to take the time out now and throughout your journey to celebrate—to maintain motivation.

You’ve come to wealth creation through some emotion of want or deprivation. So how much sense does it make to continue to deprive yourself? Why shouldn’t you enjoy some of the fruits of your labor now?

Often we end up punishing ourselves with the very rewards that we have set as our goals. We continue to look towards them as something in the future, something for a later date when we ‘deserve’ them, and so we continue to punish ourselves and stress ourselves with want and need. That’s silly.

Yes we should maintain larger goals, but we should also cut ourselves some slack and enjoy life now. By celebrating your success and having some enjoyment throughout the process, you give yourself a sense of accomplishment and appreciation; and that is far more motivating than a promise three years from now.

Is There Really An End?

Our time here in this world is not the most certain thing. What if tomorrow never comes? What if you continue to chastise yourself and never enjoy your reward? Live every day with appreciation and enjoyment, with no regrets.

And here’s one final point to consider—as you enjoy success, you will set larger goals for yourself all the time. So what’s to say there ever will be an ‘end’? What if you put off all your celebrating, but never satisfy yourself with one, solid end goal?

Life is for the living. It is for enjoyment and fulfillment. Look to the future, but also enjoy what you have accomplished now. It’s the best motivation you could have.
