‘Sacrifice’ To Attract Wealth

Wednesday, September 2nd, 2009

Not everything we give up is really a sacrifice, as we talked about last time. Sometimes in life those ‘sacrifices’ are the best possible things that could happen for us. The benefits to giving up on fruitless efforts are huge, in more ways than you might have considered.

Always On Law Of Attraction

Just like the Internet, the Law of Attraction is an ‘always on’ force. It never stops working for you; it never stops attracting to you that which you put out into the world. Properly utilised, the Secret has the potential to be a hugely beneficial force for you. On the other hand, if you don’t pay attention to what you are attracting to you, it could also easily become one of the most destructive forces in your life.

Just to refresh, we attract to us the same things we put out into the world. If you put out stress, negativity, doubt, and need, you will get all of those things back to you. If you replace those thoughts and feelings with positivity, determination, motivation, wealth, action, and positive effort, those are the things that will come back to you.

Put in this perspective, you now need to consider that any negative or wasteful things that you give up are not sacrifices at all—they are more like culls in the herd of positive things that can work for you and attract wealth. By culling out those negative forces, you make room for the positives and open the space for the Law of Attraction to work positively for you.

As humans we tend not to like change, and so whenever we need to give something up we think of it as a sacrifice. Often, that is not really the case at all. Often we are just making room for positive replacements and improvements, and each time we do that we open up infinitely more possibilities than if we lived with the status quo.

On Sacrifice

Tuesday, September 1st, 2009

A lot of people, especially when starting out on a plan for creating wealth, think of the effort as a sort of sacrifice. The idea of sacrificing is what keeps a lot of people from working to build wealth, so let’s talk about that a little.

The Irony Of Wealth Sacrifice

It seems a little ironic that you would have to sacrifice to build wealth, especially considering the Law of Attraction wherein wealth attracts wealth. That’s understandable but it’s also just plain life. Our lives are so jam-packed with things to do, obligations and commitments to others and to paid slavery jobs, that there seems like there is no room for anything else, even if it is something of great benefit to us (like creating wealth) that will allow us to free our time and take control of our lives (like wealth creation).

Part of the reason that it seems so ironic and difficult to commit to is that we think of this in slightly incorrect terms; when you work to build wealth, even if you give up some of your ‘spare’ time or ‘free’ money, you are not really sacrificing it (as in, it is not dead or gone to you), you are simply changing and exchanging it for something else—something that is actually far better and with much better potential for you.

Truth In Perspective

Sacrificing has a very negative connotation, and for good reason. What you are doing as you build wealth is not sacrificing a life that is working for you, you are giving up something that isn’t for something that is better; that something is also the one thing that makes your best, truest life possible. When you think of it that way, that hardly sounds like a sacrifice anymore, now does it? Considered in its real perspective, wealth creation, even at a ‘cost’, is a much more attractive undertaking!

Turn The Tables On The Cynics

Monday, June 29th, 2009

There will always be cynical people and nay-sayers in your life who will very freely tell you how impossible your dreams and goals are to achieve. With that kind of attitude, they certainly always will be. You are likely to realize just who and how many there are in your life when you start selecting whose influence you will absorb. You can easily turn the table on the cynics, though, and put a halt to the negative impact they have on your life.

The Best Revenge

We try not to be vengeful here, because vengeance is just another form of negative energy—a waste. Still, as the saying goes, living well is the best kind of revenge. So stop wasting energy worrying about what your cynical, negative friends and family say and take comfort that in the end, your actions and accomplishments will speak for themselves.

In the meantime, there are actually a few ways that you can turn the tables on their ‘advice’, and possibly even put it to good use for you.

For example, consider this. Often when a cynic speaks out there is some small grain of truth in what they say—they’ve just searched really hard to ferret out the worst-case scenario or some reason you should be as miserable as them. As it helps to always know your situation and options all-around, you can take that basis of truth under advisement; think about their point, consider it, research it if it warrants it, and address the issue if it is a real concern. Just be careful not to give it too much weight and time—this is an exercise in proactive success; we’re not looking just to find reasons that whatever it is you are doing can’t work (we’re just being objective).

The Cynical Challenge

You could also use their cynicism as your motivation. Go ahead and set out to prove them all wrong. Work positively to show them the error of their ways and all the while benefit from it yourself. You may even turn a few away from the ‘dark side’ and help along another who otherwise would resign him- or herself to a life of financial struggle.

We can’t stop negativity and cynicism from buzzing around us, but we can control its impact. Be prepared and decide now what route you will take to turn cynicism on its head—there’ll be no stopping you from achieving financial freedom then!

Sensory Overload

Sunday, June 28th, 2009

There are two reasons why it is important to sort through the noise of life and outsiders and selectively absorb only that which is useful to you. (Actually there are probably more, I’m sure, but two that I’m going to focus on today.)

Reason # 1 – Who Needs More Negative?

The first reason is this, and it’s a big one. The Law of Attraction tells us (and even if you don’t subscribe to the Secret, you can agree with this) that negativity breeds negativity. When you allow your life to be bombarded with negative talk and actions, when you allow yourself to absorb the negativity that other people will most assuredly offer up, you fill up all the space in your life with useless, and worse, harmful negativity. That negativity attracts and grows more negativity, and pretty soon there is no room left for anything positive in your life. There’s a simple solution to this, though—stop allowing negativity to impact your life! Select for the good, the supportive, the prosperous, and the positive. Let that be your breeding ground for success.

Reason # 2- Enough Already!

no-hand1This is the second point, and I alluded to it in the last ‘reason’.

As humans we can only take so much. We are capable of a lot, but there is only so much that our minds, bodies, and senses can take in before our protection mechanisms say, “Enough!” Our senses and minds can very easily become overloaded if we pay too much attention and credit to outside influences. And you do not want your natural breaking point to come at a time when there is only negativity in your life.

Even the best of influences can overload us. This is why it is important to carefully balance what you take in. Be selective and fill your space with positive learning and action. Don’t leave any room for the negative. Push out the negative by only focusing on the positive, and make sure that the positives that you select for are in-line with your wealth vision, actions, and goals.

Focus is a very important part of achieving any goal. It is the path to efficient wealth-building and a contented life. Don’t fall victim to sensory overload; weed out the noise and attend only to what you decide is in your best interests for wealth creation and financial freedom.

Your Wealth Presence

Thursday, June 18th, 2009

We started to touch on this subject the other day when we were talking about abundance mentality versus scarcity mindset and where you would be when your wealth arrived. The topic today is living in the present.

The Wealth Present

Because wealth is something we are trying to achieve, something we are trying to better and increase, we tend to think of it as something for the future. Obviously to a very large extent wealth is something in the future, but it is also something in your present, and you cannot deny that, either. Denying it and/or not living in the present only causes an undue amount of stress and longing.

Everyone has wealth in their life—right now, in the present. Acknowledging that prevents that issue of undue longing, along with others, and also helps you to capitalize on your mindset and the Law of Attraction and other wealth-building principles. Remember that wealth can take many forms, so if you try hard enough you will find it in your life right now, giving you a starting point to build on.

Positive In The Present

The greatest thing that acknowledging all wealth now does is it puts you in a positive state of mind. As we know, that positive mindset is integral to wealth and financial success. You do yourself a great deal of good and attract more positivity and success to you just through the acknowledgment of what you have and what you have built as you’ve progressed.

The other thing that you accomplish when you do this is you stop wasting the precious time of your life. Life is a gift to be shared and enjoyed, and you should be living it to the best of your ability each and every day. What sense is it to wallow in despair now and to hope that something better will come of that? That is entirely contrary to what you are working to achieve.

As we work to create wealth we need to look toward the future to set and work towards our larger goals; but we also need to live in the present. Wealth is a lifestyle, not a one-off occurrence that comes and goes. Be wealthy now, be wealthy in the future, and take every gift this life gives you.
