Principles for Attracting Wealth
Monday, August 16th, 2010It has been proven time and time again that positive thinking attracts positive things and negative thinking attracts negative things. Where your focus lies is what you will have in abundance. For example, if you think that you will always be poor, then you attract a life where you are forced to live from paycheck to paycheck. On the other hand, if you believe that you are going to be wealthy and visualize yourself gaining such wealth, then it will come to you.
There are two basic principles to remember in order to attract wealth to your life, including:
1. Gratitude. No matter what is going on in your life right now, even if you are not happy with it, find at least one good thing for which you are grateful. Gratitude is one of the most powerful positive emotions. You can be thankful for your friends, your health or the five dollar bill you forgot you had. Focus on the wealth that you have not the wealth that you need. Be thankful for the $200 you have in the bank and forget about the $400 you need for bills. If you worry about the bills, you are focusing on the lack of money and that is not what you want to attract. By focusing on the money you have, you will attract more to you.
2. Visualize. Imagine yourself with the money that you want in your pocket. Concentrate on this image with every sense of your being. Visualize yourself holding the money in your hand. Feel the bills between your fingers, smell the ink of new money, hear the change in your pocket, taste the wine and caviar that you will be able to enjoy. Think about how you will feel when you pay off long standing bills or buy your loved ones luxurious gifts. Be consistent with your positive thinking, never letting any negativity find a way to your mind.

This is a myth. Wealth is not limited by anything except for our own limited thinking. There is plenty of money to go around, and more to be made. We should not think of wealth as a race to grab as much as we can and take from our friends and neighbors. Wealth does not grow that way. Money grows when we open ourselves and share the wealth and help each other to bring more into everyone’s life. When you share your wealth and your knowledge, you attract great things to you—gratitude, positivity, more knowledge, more wealth—in a myriad of forms!
