How Far Is Too Far For Wealth?
How far is too far when you are talking about building your personal wealth, and indeed your very personal freedom? How far would you go? How far is the road ahead of you (or how far do you perceive it to be)? Does it seem too far? Does it seem you’ll never get there? Are you considering giving up in the face of the unachievable?
Those are a lot of questions, and I hope the answers for you are all good. But it does happen from time to time along the way that the road to getting rich is very long—and perhaps even too long. There is good news, though, and I think you’ll want to hear it.
It Only Takes A Step To Shorten A Walk
It only takes one step, one forward motion, to shorten the distance between you and where you are going. If the road seems too long don’t think about traveling it all at once; just think about spending a little time today to get where you want to be. Take that one step and revel in the knowledge that you are that much closer to being wealthy and financially free. You can ease your journey now by doing just one thing to lessen your load.
You’re Closer Than You Were Before
That one thing doesn’t need to be anything difficult, either. Reading something motivational and supportive—like this blog—is one thing. So here already you are closer than you were when you started. You have done at least one thing to start you towards wealth. You have consumed one ounce of knowledge and motivation to get you on to the next.
Everything you do, everything you learn, and every action you take moves you toward wealth; shortens the path; makes your road less long. Relax and know that you’ve already gone a distance, and the distance remaining is now shorter. All you have to do is keep moving forward.
