Sensory Overload

There are two reasons why it is important to sort through the noise of life and outsiders and selectively absorb only that which is useful to you. (Actually there are probably more, I’m sure, but two that I’m going to focus on today.)

Reason # 1 – Who Needs More Negative?

The first reason is this, and it’s a big one. The Law of Attraction tells us (and even if you don’t subscribe to the Secret, you can agree with this) that negativity breeds negativity. When you allow your life to be bombarded with negative talk and actions, when you allow yourself to absorb the negativity that other people will most assuredly offer up, you fill up all the space in your life with useless, and worse, harmful negativity. That negativity attracts and grows more negativity, and pretty soon there is no room left for anything positive in your life. There’s a simple solution to this, though—stop allowing negativity to impact your life! Select for the good, the supportive, the prosperous, and the positive. Let that be your breeding ground for success.

Reason # 2- Enough Already!

no-hand1This is the second point, and I alluded to it in the last ‘reason’.

As humans we can only take so much. We are capable of a lot, but there is only so much that our minds, bodies, and senses can take in before our protection mechanisms say, “Enough!” Our senses and minds can very easily become overloaded if we pay too much attention and credit to outside influences. And you do not want your natural breaking point to come at a time when there is only negativity in your life.

Even the best of influences can overload us. This is why it is important to carefully balance what you take in. Be selective and fill your space with positive learning and action. Don’t leave any room for the negative. Push out the negative by only focusing on the positive, and make sure that the positives that you select for are in-line with your wealth vision, actions, and goals.

Focus is a very important part of achieving any goal. It is the path to efficient wealth-building and a contented life. Don’t fall victim to sensory overload; weed out the noise and attend only to what you decide is in your best interests for wealth creation and financial freedom.
