There are primarily three major paths to wealth creation: people, money and ideas. You need to have a wealth creation plan that involves any combination of the three essential components.

People

Wealth creation is possible by taking the people path. Creating wealth through people refers to the earnings that you receive directly as a professional, laborer, employee, consultant or business owner. The wealth you create following this path will be in exchange for your services, expertise, skills and labor. Essentially, you trade your time and ability for money. Because you create wealth by directly adding value to the lives of other people, you are required to be productive and physically present in order to create wealth by following the people path.

Money

Creating wealth by following the money path refers to investment and profit of enterprise. These profits include money that is earned by investors, business owners and entrepreneurs. When you follow the money path to create wealth, you indirectly create wealth and help it to multiply through investment of your capital and receiving returns on your investments.

Following the money path to wealth creation allows you to invest one time and continue to reap the benefits for some time to come. Your expertise or physical presence is not required if you take the money path to wealth creation. In fact, should you pass away, you investments are passed on to beneficiaries and heirs.

Ideas

Taking the idea path to wealth creation requires you to make money from something that you create. Most of the time, all of the work is done initially and profits continue to pay you for some time to come. Using this method could lead you to an unlimited source of regular income.

Things you can create in order to follow the idea path to wealth creation include works of art, books, music, film, computer software, unique designs, new inventions, etc.
