More Important Than Money
It may seem a bit odd for us to be talking about things that are more important than money on a wealth creation blog. Informed wealth creators know it to be true, for several reasons. And it’s important to understand these priorities so that you can maximize your wealth potential.
Some Things In Life
Throughout this blog we’ve made a point of disempowering the excuses that hold people back from creating wealth. We haven’t let denials like, “some things in life are more important than money” get in the way of our ability create wealth. We’ve thrown off attitudes like, “money is evil” and all the other things that people like to say. The thing of it is, all along we’ve also recognized that some of these things are true (although the money is evil was never true).
There are things in life that are more important than money. Your family, your health, the people dear to you and their wellbeing—these are all things that are more important than money. However, in order for you and for them to live well and contentedly, you need money, because that is just the way of the modern world. So it’s not that our priority is money, our priority is in accessing whatever tools we need to live well and provide for those we care about. That just happens to be money.
One To Rule All
Even after your family and your needs, there is something else that is more important than money itself—mindset. As we talked about yesterday, without the mindset to be wealthy and financially free, you will not build wealth. Therefore, this takes priority over money. You can have money for a short while without this mindset, but you cannot sustain yourself until you have developed a mindset of wealth and success.
The mindset part of the equation needs to come first, and it needs to be maintained throughout all of life. If you have the wealth mindset, and learn a few strategies for creating and maintaining wealth, then you can be prosperous. Develop the mindset, and all the rest will follow.
