Be Wealthy Now!
Yesterday I introduced you to [Name Withheld], my friend and mentor, and Peak Performance life coach. I sent you over to start the series of Peak Performance interviews with him at my blog. Today, I’d like to explore one of those videos, and one of my favorite concepts from this part of the interview.
Be, Do, Have
One of my favorite [Name Withheld] strategies or concepts is the concept of Be, Do, Have. I find that this concept resonates with many people, and makes such perfect and simple sense that it is easy to apply—a real kick-start to wealth creation! I encourage you to head over to my blog and watch this [Name Withheld] video installment, as we begin to discuss it here. I’d like to break this down into each of its three parts for the purposes of discussion here on this blog, starting with, “Be”.
Be A Wealthy Person
The entire concept of Be, Do, Have relies on all three pieces. Most people even get that—they get that you have to do (take action) in order to have and to be what you want to be. The problem is that we go about all in the wrong order—we assume that the first step is to take action toward achieving our goal. We try to do so that we can have to make us be what we want to be (wealthy, in this case, or financially free if you prefer).
Don’t You Have To Do To Be?
That doesn’t seem so bad; everyone preaches the necessity of action, and indeed that is true. The trouble comes as [Name Withheld] explains in the videos: you can’t take the necessary actions if you do not already believe yourself to be that person, so you will never have what a wealthy person has. Why? Very simple. Because you act according to who you believe you are. If you are an unhealthy person, you will take unhealthy actions. If you are not wealthy, you will not take the actions a wealthy person takes, and so, wealth will evade you.
So the first step in the process is to visualize yourself as a wealthy person. See yourself as being a wealthy person first, and you will start thinking in terms of wealth and achievement, and start living up to your own image of yourself—a wealthy image for a true wealth creator!
