How Money Talks: It's Influence In The World

Have you ever heard the expression "Money talks"? Most people have heard it said in one form or another, but what does it mean? When some one says that money talks, what they really mean is that it has the power to say many things about what we can and can't do. In other words, money has influence. As it has been said before, he who has money has power.
But, what sort of power and influence does it have?

When money talks people, things, and circumstances all stand to listen. Depending upon who has it, money can say a lot about the type of person they are and whether they will use the influence of money for good or bad purposes. Three things that money can do:

It enables you to achieve freedom from debt and worry
It provides opportunities to experience more and to obtain all of your material wants and needs
Influence the actions and even opinions of people

Money talks to most of us because it always speaks of the promise of financial freedom and the elimination of debt and worry. Depending on the needs of the individual, the voice of money can become siren song leading many to desperation and loss. We understand that money provides power, influence, and motivation.

This motivation can have two aspects, one that is beneficial, and the other, which can do great harm to those not aware of it. On the one, hand you may be motivated to work hard and develop a strategy for saving money. On the other, you may try a get rich quick strategies or gambling.

The twofold nature of money certainly extends to the accumulation of good and materials. When you want to buy that luxury automobile or get a loan on that million-dollar house, money talks!

With the right amount of money, you can get people to do want you want and influence their decisions on a whole host of topics and issues. This is because they, themselves, need or want that money. Unfortunately, money is a great tool for opening doors even when it is used in less than appropriate ways such as bribing. It is a common occurrence in so many areas of our everyday lives.

Regardless, if what you choose to do with it, it remains an unavoidable truth that money talks and can influence the course of whole societies, has been the reason wars have started, and has transformed the lives of millions of people for the better.
