Take A Paid Survey For Money: Is It A Good Deal?

Whether taking a survey for money is a good deal or not is a question that is subjective and can depend upon factors like the type of survey as well as the individual taking the survey.  Yet, one way to answer is to browse the internet and look for reviews of paid online survey websites.  In most cases, some payment is made for the time taken to participate in the survey, but there are some cases where the word "paid" it stretched to the breaking point—in other words, there are some scam that promise payment but never deliver.

With fraud being an obvious possibility, some web users have grown more reticent to become involved in online surveys.  This action (or rather inaction) is often more severe a step than is warranted.  For those looking for get rich schemes, taking a survey for money is not the right path.  It is possible to make a decent supplement income in many cases with the earnings from many of the straightforward customer input based surveys that are advertised, but you will not be pulling in significant numbers.

Those behind the online surveys, usually offer a small sum ranging from $1 to $30 per completed survey.  A tidy amount if you can accumulate a larger number of surveys during a week or on a monthly basis.  This can be a good or bad thing depending upon the time it takes you to complete the survey.  Now if it is $30 for a half-hour survey, you may be on to something if you can survey in a similar range consistently.  Most people don't get so lucky so the amounts vary more sharply.

Many times, doing a survey for money is simply not about money at all.  The advertisements state that paid surveys are available but this does not always mean cash payment.  In some cases, payment comes in the form of gift certificates, rebates on products, accumulation of points that equate to certain cash amounts or opportunities to sign up for a monthly prize available to all surveyors participating in the service, etc.

In order to locate viable opportunities to complete paid surveys may take a bit of investigative work.  Researching all of the possible choices will take time and patience since there are many more services that do not pan out than those who pay reasonable amounts.  If you are willing to do the work, you can do a survey for money.
